He had a candle and candle stick in his hand — he al- ways usid candles. He put the can...dle stick down and wtnt out the east passage way, my door. Af- ter that I went to a party, and returned home about 10 o'clock. I went to a Mr Grant's. When I got home I went to my kitchen, took ofT my outside coat, and with a lamp, went to fasten up the build- ing. The first door I went to was the labralory stairs door to Dr. Webster's room.
