A Medallion was struck, to commemorate the tri- umph of Lilburne, on his original acquittal from the charge of high treason. It had on one side these words : " John Lilburne, saved by the power of the Lord, and the integrity of his jury, who are judges of the law as well as of fact, Oct. 26, 1649. " The reverse, presented the names of the jurymen, in several circles one within the other, with a rose in the centre.
