Personality, in the sense of its being a living, overpowering influence, is at the root of all our sanctification and exaltation in Christ. The two views are not separable in practice, as Christ is a Divine Person through that wondrous replacement of personality so much spoken of in this book, for our sakes, in order that we should gain highest human perfection in Him.
