“You, me, and Del...ilah, we’re gonna ride on up ahead,” he said. “We’ll meet up with the men and the cattle in ol’ Mexico.”
“What if they don’t make it to Mexico?” Anderson asked. “What if the posse catches up to them, and . . .”
Anderson trailed off as he noticed Sandusky watching him with a small smile on his face.
