He came: he say, put bullets in your rifles. He say, make fight. Plenty of Indian comes. Howard How near, how near? Eagle-Talon [lifts his hands with fingers extended ] As close on Eagle-Talon As these few miles. Howard [turning; in a slow^ masterful voice] Men, get your rifles.
