The Departments are these: Agriculture, Farm Produce, Animal Husbandry, Dairy Industry, Agricultural Chemistry, Biology, Entom- ology and General Invertebrate Zoology, Drawing, Extension Work, Farm Crops and Farm Management, Farm Mechanics, Hortic...ulture, Plant Breeding, Plant Pathology, Plant Physiology, Poultry Husbandry, Rural Economy, Soil Technology, Rural Art, Pomology.
In addition to these, there are lecturers in Nature Study, Home Economics, and Meteorology. The Meteor- ologist is a State official with a large district to supervise, and with a government recording station to control. He lectures to students, but their attendance is voluntary.

There are four classes of students : (i) Those attend- ing the short Winter Courses.
