The comparatively recent form...ation, however, of the Quebec Cheesemakers' Agricultural Co-oper- ative Society is rapidly righting this wrong, and steps are be- ing taken by it to prevent the practice pursued by some ship- pers of removing the Quebec marks from the cheeses or from the boxes containing them. That Quebec has nothing to fear from competition with other provinces in this connection is shown by the fact that prime Quebec cheese commands as high, and even higher prices upon the wholesale markets than similar Ontario grades.
