I never squeal when I'm cheat- ed in a horse deal, but I'll be dadblamed if I'm going to be hornswoggled by a frontier sawbones without making a kick/' "Goodness gracious, Jacobs, what in the world is the matter?" "Matter! Well, that's cheeky, after sending in this bill." "I don't understand you, Jacobs — ^what's wrong with that bill?"
