As the smoke billowed out in the dusky dark, Marcus looked around the edge of the hood and saw the Jackals drive over the hill and start creating a huge semicircle around his little convoy. They were careful to stay out about a quarter mile away. He looked bac...k to the other direction and saw an even larger force pour over from the other direction. They met with the other group and formed a full semicircle completely blocking any exit from the valley.More and more smoke boiled from his SUV. They had them trapped. Sure, they could get out and run into the forest but they would be easy to track.
