Addressed to his beloved in Christ, WiUiam Salyng, the Prior, and the Convent, wherein he recited most of the Charters granted to the Priory by his Royal predecessors, together with his own letters patent dated February 6, 1512; and in order that all and singular their contents might have force and effect, for himself and his heirs as much as in him lay, for himself and his successors in perpetuity, accepted and confirmed the same by the tenor of the present Charter, and ratified and confirmed the same as the said letter reasonably testified.
