The address issued to the Conference from Breslau con- tained a strong presentation of the religious state of many Jews, and of the confusions arising from the conflicts be- tween the demands of life and the observance of the tradi- tional laws ; particular attention is called to the need of a reform of the liturgy and to the necessity of a solution of the difficulties connected with Sabbath observance.
