And as regards the framers of our Liturgy and Ordinal holding opinions inimical to the Divine Institution of EjDiscopacy, I maintain, that there was not one of them, with the exception of Cranmc)\ of whom I shall presently speak more at large, who expressed the sentiments imputed to them by Mr, Macaulay ; nay, that they did (so far as they expressed their views, ) record opinions^ directly the reverse.
