Ophthalmometer. — Astigmatism with the rule, .50 D., 90° 4- or 180° — left eye. The right eye could not be measured with either the ophthalmometer or retinoscope, because the patient could not turn the eye out far enough ; and to measure the left eye, the patient had to turn her head to the left in order to give a front view of it.
