"Hello! look! I have killed the Pasha sure enough!" said Stephan, puflSng himself up. "What! made all those orphans?" said Kara-George.
The rest of the night passed quietly. At daybreak Kara- George called on the cavalry to leave the trenches; they ranged themselves in fighting order — and there are the Turks — at- tacking like hungry wolves!
