For politics and political economy the candidates will be examined upon the following works: Aristotle, "Poli- tics;" Hobbes, "Leviathan" (ch. 13-30); Bluntschli, Lehre vom Modemen Stat (vol. I) ; Maine^ " Ancient Law ; " Mill, "Political Economy." This is, it seems, a little less extensive than the examination at Cambridge, where there is a tendency to make political science take the precedence of history.
