The chapters are short. It's very bland and feels like a watered-down version of Harry Potter and every book that includes the teen protagonist enrolling into an academy plot. It's absolutely milked for so many other books, and it pulls out all the tropes. Mediocre book on the lower end of the spectrum, and I wouldn't recommend it. You're better off reading books such as Warriors or the Stormlight Archive. They have actual thought, love, and effort put into them.Write Review:
