Isabellawas married in Leyden to Roger Chandler five years before _TheMayflower_ sailed. Evidently, Mary bore the same name as an oldersister whose burial is recorded at St. Martin's, Canterbury, in1593. Isaac Chilton, a glass-maker, may have been brother or cousin ofJames.
