But the ministry is in fact nothing at all, nor is there any discipline. For those persons cannot be said to be ministers of Christ, but seryants of men, -vrho can do nothing according to the prescript of the word, but are obliged to act in every respect at the nod of the queen and the bishops. What must we say, when most of them are popish priests, consecrated to perform mass; and the far greater part of the remainder are most ignorant persons, appointed at the will of the people, not to the ministry of the word, but to repeat the office of the day or festival, which aknost aAy child might do with- out difficulty ?
