On attempting coitus, violent mental excitement, with feeling of anxiety; erection impossible. Impo- tentia coeundi. The patient was treated for a long time by noted special- ists with cold sounds, electricity, etc., without noticeable success.
B. is about to become engaged, and is unhappy over his condition, ■which constantly takes up all his thoughts. His sleep is undisturbed, though he has erections and pollutions.
