Booths lined three of the walls; their seats were plush deep purple velvet. There were also old fashioned overstuffed chairs and couches in the same fabric, but in blue and deep green, scattered around the periphery between booths. The far wall held a bar that ran nearly the length of the room and was under recessed blue lighting. I had never been in a venue like this and instantly felt out of place.
