Respectfully submitted, Dennis Patten FOREST FIRE WARDEN 1992 ANNUAL REPORT 71 STATE OF NEW HAMPSHIRE FOREST RANGER 1992 was below average for wildfires reported in our State. Our largest fire was in May in Rumney where a suspicious origin fire burned approximately 150 acres with a total cost of approximately $30,000. The New Hampshire Division of Forests and Lands assisted many other communities in wild land fire suppression as well.
Our fire lookout towers reported 289 fires, burning a total of 136 acres.
