This anfwer was exprefled in very plain and concife terms. Thefe Tartars in general write with brevity and perfpicuity. I have feen feveral of their letters tranflated, which pleafed me extremely, as they contained no tedious preambles, nor difgui'Ung repe- titions, which ferve only to perplex the reader.
