It is a very remarkable circumftance, that, in a conftitution fo free as that of Sweden, in which even thep eafants, as landholders, are returned members to the diet, the country gentlemen, be their landed property ever fo large, are not reprefented in the ftates of the kingdom*, have neither any vote in the choice • The reafon of the country gentlemen being excluded from C- IV.
