The resolutions of this conference declared for an edu- cational test as a qualification for the voter instead of the accident of sex, and a strong one on the labor problem, urg- ing all women to study the economic side of the labor ques- tion, and one declaring for arbitration for settling of dif- ferences. The papers..., addresses and discussions were full of en- thusiasm and zeal. Colonel Bain's lecture was a master- piece. One pleasing incident was when the children of Couch school came marching in, bringing floral tributes to the great meeting. Madames Unruh and Cox, fresh from Kan- sas, seemed brimful of energy and zeal. The state convention which preceded the conference was one of the very best on record, notwithstanding it had to be cut short to make way for the conference. The treasurer's report gave us some most interesting figures, some of which should be quoted.
