If you can discover to the rising* feneration a better religion than the Chris- tian, one that will niore eiffectually animate their hopes and subdue their passions, make them bet- ter men or better members of society, we impor- tune you to publish it for their advantage ; but till you can do, that, we beg of you not to give the reins to their passions by instilling into their unsuspicious ' minds your pernicious prejudices.
