It first appears in the accounts for the year 1602, at a rent of 2s., which was afterwards raised to 6/8. Now known as Puckeridge Mead. BuRES : Estate bought by the College in 1646 for £S4°t of which ;£504 was Dr. Eden's legacy (in addition to the gift of the Fordham farm).
