The latter' s son, Abel, sold the Manor to Edward Plant. He disposed of it to the Reverend Moses Hodges, to whose descendants it passed down, and by them is owned at the present time. Sulgrave was listed in Domesday Book, and in 1330 was recorded as belonging to the Prior of St.
