To my nephew William Wen man my estate in Mansfield Woodhouse.
My estates in Laneham and Dunham to be sold by the said trustees,... and after the expenses, etc., deducted, the remainder to be divided among the children of my late brother the Eev^ George Wenman. By deed dated June 1711 I set aside with John Earr, my wife's brother, now living, and Henry Farr, her uncle, long since dead, £900 to the use of myself, my wife and children. And whereas we have only one daughtei-, Margaret Heartley, who in a very unkind and indiscreet manner disposed of herself in marriage to one M' Abel Bartley, without our consent or approbation, I desire in lieu my trustees to deduct from my estate £1,200 and pay the interest to my daughter during life, as I do not desire she should want bread, and invest it in Chancery for the benefit of her child or children.
