It may not be amiss to note (with- out laying stress on it) that all those crests in the English and Scotc...h curves are near sunspot minima.
It should be borne in mind that all dates here considered are a great deal earlier than those of wheat cutting. It is right to state that those series for Strathfield Turgiss are not perfectly homogeneous throughout, but they cannot be far from the truth.
