The Professor wrote thus ; '1 know and rejoice in the blessing Spiritualism has been to my own faith, and to that of several dear friends of mine* Moreover, I cordially recognize the fact that in bereavement and deep distress numbers have been cheered and consoled by the hope that Spirifualism has set before them/' Professor Barrett brought the subject of Spiritualism before the British Associa- tion for the Advancement of SciencCj and an audience of 1,500 listened to him.
