Serve immediately. CURRIED EGGS Chop one onion and slice thin one tart apple. Melt one tablespoonful and a half of butter in a saucepan, add apple and onion, and cook quickly until a golden brown. Stir in one scant teaspoonful of curry powder, one third of a teaspoonful of salt, and one tablespoonful of flour. When browned add gradually one cupful and a quarter of milk and continue to stir until thick and smooth.
