What reading level is Wilcox Family History. Being Some Account of the First Five Generations in Direct Line From William Wilcockson of Stratford, Connecticut, to Josiah Wilcox of Brecksville, Ohio book?
To quickly assess the difficulty of the text, read a short excerpt:

8, 1750.
Jos iah, bor n Sept. 15. 175 3.
Grace, born July 11, 1755.
JOHN WILLCOXSON Of Killingworth, Connecticut.
1675 THIRD GENERATION.
Of the third generation we have but very slight knowledge. The colonial records are silent on the life of John, whose name appears above, and there is noth- ing in the town Records of Killingworth of any partic- ular concern aside from the vital statistics which have already been given. John had a large family of chil- dren, ten in all, whose names and birth d
...ates have al- ready been given on the preceding page, and will, there fore not be repeated here.
The date of his marriage is not known, nor his wife's maiden name, but he was probably married some time in the first three years of the eighteenth, century, as his first born, John, was born January 1, 1704-05.
On account of our scant, knowledge of John, the compiler has conceived the notion of explaining at this point his method of tracing backwards the ancestry of Josiah Willcox of Brecksville to William Wilcockson of Stratford, and why he knows that the results are accu- rate.
