[Remarks. The larva, or caterpillars, have twelve eyes on the head (or rather twelve lenses, ) body in twelve segments, with nine spiracles on each side, and is generally beset with prickles. The caterpillar becomes a chrysalis or pupa, which is scarcely capable of motion ; and is distinguish- ed from that of the phalsera genus, by never being provided with a web.
